She was chosen a week ago from six semi-finalists at a meeting which took place at the Air Ministry Whitehall, where the judges were Mr. William Dring, A.R.A., Air Chief Commandant Lady Welsh, Director of W.A.A.F., and Air Chief Marshal Sir Phillip Joubert de la Perte, K.C.B., C.I.C., D.S.O. Miss Harvey, who is tall and slim, is at present working for the Control Commission at Lubbeoke, Germany, was born in 1923 and was educated at St. Stephons College, Folkestone and Hillside Covont College, Farnborough, Kent.
