Her first Hollywood film was 'The Temptress' 1926. Amongst her other successes are, 'Queen Christie' (1930), 'Anna Karenina' (1935) and 'Ninotchka' (1939). She retired from films in 1941, after receiving poor reviews for 'Two-Faced Woman.' She spent the rest of her life living as a recluse in New York. Date: 1
