Police Iceman Was Slayer Of Nine -- The effrontery of Hedin was amazing. In 1951 he took part in a murder hunt when he, himself, was the murderer. He is seen here (under the arrow) taking part in a reconstruction of the crime. The body of Tore Hedin, 25-year-old Swedish policeman, who confessed to nine murders, was found on Saturday in the lake of bosarp in Skaane, northern Sweden. He had been missing since Friday when his car was found abandoned by the lakeside. Police found a latter in the car admitting the murders of his parents, his 24-year-old fiancee, the matron of an old people's home where the girl was employed, and the burning down of the home which caused the deaths of five inmates.
