Pilot - Legless pilot Mr. Richard Fairey, who is believed to have set a record (1hr 40 min.) for learning to fly solo in a helicopter was telling actress Frances Day about it at the River Club, London, last night.Said Fairey, son of air firm chief, Sir Richard Fairey: "Not bad for a chap with no legs of his own. Usually it takes people - with legs - about four or five hours to learn to fly a helicopter.The Cost: £1 a minute.Fairey has flown 4,000 hours as an ordinary pilot.
