Part of 3 Bn RAR on the hot and dusty 28 miles march to Haramura in their familiar World War II open order.3 Bn Royal Australian Regiment with BCOF in Japan trained intensively for combat at weekend field exercises at Haramura. Their match to the training ground was interrupted by "North Koreans" (a platoon of *****) who made an ambush aided by a "Mock-up" tank. They joined the Bn in attack and defence exercises later.
