Olympic cyclist Lionel Cox, being treated by his trainer Jack Fitzgerald for injuries suffered in his last ride as an amateur on Saturday. Cox, with Russell Mockridge, has been declared a professional by the Victorian Amateur Cyclists' Union. Well-bandaged for abrasions caused by a fall shortly after his return to Melbourne from the Helsinki Games, Cox cheerfully submits to the ministrations of his trainer Jack Fitzgerald. March 6, 1953.
