The old four-masted barque Pamir is to be the first sailing ship in 25 years to go round the Horn on the voyage from New Zealand to England.Now in floating dock being surveyed and de-bar-nacled, the Pamir will load tallow and hides and 7500 bales of wool for England.The old Pamir has weathered the bleak Cape Horn many times since she rounded on her maiden voyage in 1906 from the Scilly Islands to Valparaiso.Captain H.S.
