Oil Arbitrator -- Lord Radcliffe, who has been chosen by the Anglo Iranian Oil Company as arbitrator, if the Persian Government agrees to arbitration, has many things to fit him for the task. He was briefed for the Bank of New South Wales in the famous and protracted case before the Privy Council in 1948. When he took his seat at the House of Lords in 1950 he was only 52 years of age, the youngest of the Law Lords. July 25, 1951. (Photo by Walter Stoneman F.R.P.S of Russell & Sons).
