The North Eastern Railway Express passenger engine for the traffic between York and Edinburgh in the early 1900's. The engine was designed to cope with the heavy demand on this line, pulling a maximun of twenty carriages. It ran 124 miles at 53 miles per hour without a stop. Date: 10th August 1901
