Nora Stanton Blatch (1883-1971), was the first U.S. woman to earn a degree in civil engineering and gain admission to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). She also followed her grandmother, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, as a leader in the campaign for women's rights.
