An army of locusts flows from the Orange Tree; armed citizens flee to the right, leaving behind large bags filled with money. Various allegorical figures fly in the air. On the right a rooster sits on a stick. Below the representation is a Dutch verse of two columns above the indication 'Het Haen-gekray'. The verse is a dialogue between Jan Provoost (or Proost) and Jan Ariaens.
