In 1948 a new castries plan was born. Members of the colonial Development Corporation moved in. The Executive architect's plans were completed and a model of the new town was built by four prefects of St. Mary's College. Studying this model, from left to right, are: John Rose, A.R.I.B.A., Executive architect of the windward islands, Eric Mitchell, A.R.I.B.A, Site Representative, C.D.G.
