NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Nov. 8, 2022) Cmdr. Margrette Moore, Naval Medical Readiness Training Unit Sigonella, Branch Health Clinic Souda Bay; Aviation Maintenance Administrationman 1st Class Cheryl Sonderman, NSA Souda Bay; Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 3rd Class Andrew LeBlanc, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, approach an MH-60S helicopter before takeoff from Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay. HSC-28 is at NSA Souda Bay participating in NIRIIS 2022 as part of a deployment to Naval Air Station Sigonella in support of Commander, U.S. 6th Fleet. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation which enables and supports U.S., Allied, Coalition, and Partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
