A testament to the high art of carpentry and precision workmanship. The Reiter family have been involved in instrument making in Mittenwald, Germany for well over 100 years. The workshop was founded by Johann Baptiste Reiter (1834-1899), who studied violin-making with Johann Baader and Jean Vauchel, and won several medals and awards for violin-making.
