Mr. Werschkul, alias Gordon Scott, but soon to be known as the latest of a long line of Tarzans, recently arrived by B.O.A.C. "Monarch" service at London Airport from New York.Mr. Scott is here for the interior shooting of the film "Tarzan and the Lost Safari", which is the first in this series of films to be made in color. The famous jungle lord, created by author Edgar Rice Burroughs, appeared originally on the screen in 1918 and has been played by a series of muscular actors including Olympic swimming champion, Johnny Weismuller.The youngest of nine children, five boys and four girls, Gordon Scott is 6' 3", has an expanded chest measurement of 50" and a 30" waist.
