Monk Make Coronation Mugs -- Brother Gilbert modelling a small bust of H.M. the Queen, which will later also be produced in quantity. About thirty dozen Coronation Mugs are being made each week in the modern pottery at Prinknash Abbey, near Gloucester. The Pottery is one of the sources of income from which the mugs are building a new Abbey Church. Clay dug from the foundations of the new Church, is use in the Pottery. Later small busts of H.M. the Queen will also be produced in quantity. January
