Mollison took off in their black aeroplane "Seafarer" from Stag Lane Aerodrome, near London for Pendine to begin final preparations for the takeoff in the long-distance record flight attempt. The aircraft which crashed at Croydon Aerodrome when they attempted to set off a few weeks ago has been rebuilt. July 3, 1933.
