Miss Liberty Waves Bon Voyage -- America's newest and largest liner-- the United States-- stems past the Statue of Liberty and heads toward open sea on her maiden voyage to Europe yesterday. The 53,000 - ton superliner carried 1660 passengers on what may be a record Atlantic Ocean crossing.
