Baker at Woodford Airport, near Manchester, today (Saturday) after a flight in one of Britain's latest jet bombers, the Delta-wing Avro Vulcan. The Minister took over the flight, over the Isle of Wight and back by way of Holyhead, In which the plane is believed to have reached more than 500 mph.It was made during his visit to the works of A.V.Roe and Co., Ltd., the aircraft's builders.
