Millionaire's £50,000 Mausoleum - Impressive Monument in Batavia. Built at a cost of £50,000 the family mausoleum of the late O. G. Khouw, multi-millionaire and philanthropist, in the Laanhof Cemetery at Batavia, Java, was opened for inspection for the first time on Sunday, September 4, when 7000 people visited it. It was designed by Giuseppe Racina, of the Italian firm of Ai Marmi Italiani, of Genoa and Batavia.
