Name: The Mahdi's Tomb - Omdurman, Sudan. Tomb of Muhammad Ahmad, self- declared Mahdi in 1881. In his reform of Islam he replaced the pilgrimage to Mecca with the obligation to serve in the holy war against unbelievers.
