The Teatro de la Zarzuela "baptized" one of its boxes with the name of Plácido Domingo, who received this tribute after directing the theater's orchestra in the zarzuela "Luisa Fernanda." Accompanied by Miguel Ángel Cortés, those in charge of the theater, and some of the members of the company, the tenor posed in box number nine (in the image), on whose door his name has been engraved on a plaque that also has Teresa Berganza.
