Light-Weight But Warm - New Waterproof Coat For Korean Troops -- Called a "Middle Parka", this new warm but lightweight jacket has been designed for Arctic use, and is to be issued to troops in Korea. The coat is in wool gaberdine, waterproof, and olive in colour. It is lined with worsted pile fabric. The whole coat weighs only four and a half pounds. It is worn with trousers and an inside coat. Drawstrings at throat and wrists aid in warmth-retention. It is on show at Debenham and Freebody's in London's Wigmore-street. September 19, 1951.
