Len Hutton Receives Sportsman Of The Year Trophy -- Man who has batted his way to the top, Len Hutton, of Yorkshire, England's first professional cricket captain, is seen receiving from Lord Broughley left, at London's Savoy Hotel tonight (Monday) the 'Sportsman of the year' trophy awarded to him in the seventh annual national ballet organised by the 'Sporting Record'. Len Hutton is famous as one of the best opening batmen in the world. In the 1952 cricket averages he was shown to have scored 2567 runs in 45 innings. His highest innings score was 189.
