The legs spring from calices and are round posts, fluted, except above, where they are angular with a tall oval medallion, with a figure at each side. The capitals have rectangular panels. The frame is a frieze protruding above the legs and decorated with rosettes. Inside is a design for the upper part of a similar leg. It has above an inversed leaf calyx, a similar capital panel and above cornices. Usual background. Date: 1789-1793. Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash, red ink on off-white laid paper.
