At left is an armchair, seen from the left corner; the left arm is omitted, so are the back legs. The back is an upholstered big oval framed laterally by columns, supporting a kind of curved entablature. The space between the upholstering and the frame is filled by straw plaiting. Below, at right, is the sketch of a chair, seen from the front. The upper part of the back is a curved rectangle, supported in the center by a board and outside by bars.
