Learning To Aim -- Australian troops are taught accurate rifle aiming by the aid of a special rifle stand. The gun is held firmly in position and set on the correct aiming spot of the target by the Sergeant-Instructor, after a careful examination by the soldier the gun is swung out of position to be re-set by him and checked by the Instructor for accuracy.
