Kissing Daddy's Medal -- Little Sandra Dodd, aged 9 months kisses the medal awarded to her father after the Investiture at the Tower of London this morning. Sergeant Frederick Dodd of the Crops of Royal Military Police was awarded this British Empire Medal for "devotion to duty in the Middle East". An Investiture was held is morning at the Tower of London, when, on behalf of H.M. The Queen, Lt. Gen. G. K. Bourne, C.B., C.M.G.., C.B.E. (the G.O.C. in - C Eastern Command) presented British Empire Medals to 45 recipients, 26 of whom were military and 20 civilian.
