King Lends Picture Of Duke Of Connaught As A Little Boy, To Scots Guards Exhibition -- The portrait of the Duke of Connaught at the age of five, which H.M. The King has lent to the Exhibition. A picture which has hung in the King's bedroom at Windsor Castle for many years, and which has never previously been seen by the public, will be on view at the Scots Guards ' Loan Exhibition which opens today at Grosvenor Square. The portrait is of Prince Arthur, now the Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, painted at the age of five. The young prince is wearing the uniform of the Scot's Guards, with busby and epaulettes, and the portrait has been lent by the gracious permission of H.H. The King.
