KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. -- In the Space Station Processing Facility, an overhead crane moves the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Raffaello across the room toward the weight and balance stand at left. Raffaello is the second MPLM built by the Italian Space Agency, and serves as a reusable logistics carrier and primary delivery system used to resupply and return station cargo requiring a pressurized environment.
