Imperial Airways Ship Crashes At Toronto - Members of the crew on the wing as the boat drifted to a stop. The Imperial Airways flying boat Cambria, which has successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean three times, crashed in her landing at Toronto, Canada, September 3rd, when the gaint craft hit a floating landing, tearing a hole in one pontoon. The crew immediately took positions on the right wing, to counterbalance the damaged pontoon and save the craft from more serious disaster. September 5, 1937. (Photo by ACME).
