Ibrahim Nassif al-Wardani (or Wardany), arrested for the assassination of Egyptian prime minister Boutros Pasha Ghali on 20th February 1910. Wardani was a pharmacology student who had just returned from Britain, and a nationalist who declared that the motive of his crime was a desire to avenge various government acts which had been attributed to Boutros Ghali personally by nationalists.
