Here For Double Purpose.Wearing fur coat and carrying flowers, Anna Magnani, Italian film star of "Open City" fams, on arrival at Victoria Station, London tonight (Thursday). Purpose of her visit is two-fold she is to attend the premiere of her new picture "Angelina" at the Academy Cinema and to see something of London's postwar rehousing, in which she is keenly interested. Most of her spare time is spent studying human problems, particularly the living conditions in Italy. She hopes to take back some useful tips with her. March 17, 1949.
