Henri (or Henry) Christophe a leader in the Haitian Revolution, winning independence from France for Haiti in 1804. Made President of Haiti in 1807, and in March 1811 was proclaimed Henri I, King of Haiti. Constructed the Citadelle Laferri貥. Committed suicide in 1820. Depicted here in Napoleonic uniform.
