A Great Splash By The British Jeep -- Indian And Pakistan Defence Chiefs Watch -- Being demonstrated over rough ground at Bagshot, Surrey, is the new British Jeep, similar in function to the American Jeep but with an improved all-round performance. It has high cross-country mobility and can land from assault craft- the engine continuing to run while under water. It has a four-cylinder 80 horse-power engine.The demonstration was watch by British Government officials and "defence" chiefs from India and Pakistan.
