The grave of Frederick Brooks, murdered at Brooks Soak three years ago. His arms were pinioned by a lubra while he was done to death with a tomahawk. The stone, erected to his memory by his old friend Randal Stafford, is 15 miles from Coniston Station. October 30, 1932.
