Giant Bomber Spans Country In Nine Hours -- The giant Boeing Flying Fortress, 22 tons of fighting, flying machinery, is shown just after it came to a rest here today following a flight from the Union Air Terminal in Burbank, Calif., in 9 hours, 14 minutes and 30 seconds. The big bomber covering approximately 2,446 miles, carried a crew of four, including its commander, Mafor Stanley M. Upstead.
