German Prisoners Arrive in Britain. They have just left the landing craft which brought them over. Prisoner in centre is still wearing "civvies". The boy on the left is yet in his 'teens. Officer on right looks on cheerfully. Streaming into Britain today, in overwhelming numbers, come these men of Hitler's vanquished "Wehrmacht". Captured in batches by the victorious Allied Armies of the West, they are illustrated here, arriving at a Southern Port. Some happy to be out of it. Some arrogant, others dejected. Some, who thought they could escape their captors, changed into civilian clothes, and were still wearing them upon arrival.
