Two of the chests, including this one, were probably made especially for this burial. They were filled with linen sheets of various qualities and weaves. Shown here with the chest are a shirt of fine linen; a sheet of superfine weave, probably used as an outer garment; and a sheet of coarser weave more than seventeen yards long, which may have served as a mattress.
