These five brothers have established what is probably a record for Australian police. They have all joined the WA police force in the last 10 years -- For of them since world war 11. They are from left: Constable W. E. (Bill) Eaton (31), Constable C. H. (Clarrie) Eaton (21), Detective T. E. (Tom) Eaton (33), Constable O. H. (Bert) Eaton (23) and Constable J. J. (Jack) Eaton (27), Tom joined the force in 1939; was in CIB work during the war. Jack (A POW for 3 years), Bill and Bert also saw service and Clarrie was in the ATC when the war finished. The two younger brothers joined on the same day, went through the police school together and graduated on the same day. August 17, 1949.
