First Showing - No. 1 on November 21, Driller dips finger into first crude oil sighted at Rough Range. Oil oozed over top of prospecting drill Hand of second driller (left) also dips into oil. Flow began when drill bit into sandy strala at level between 3605ft and 3620ft. Shortly after ooze showed, small gusher jetted stream 90 ft into air. Flow from ¼n pipe was at rate of 25 barrels an hour over a 25-hour period. May 27, 1955.
