First Day At Olympic Nursery -- Under the watchful eye of the Swiss ski instructor, Walter Von All Man, the boys have their first lesson on the "Nursery" slope at Murren. Their initial run took them four yards. A hundred schooldays from London are staying at Murren, Switzerland for a special holiday course of skiing. Some of them may one day ski for Britain they are the first organised postwar party of British boys to get the chance to learn to ski the right way at the right age. If their ability matches their enthusiasm they will probably return each year and make the Swiss ski resort an Olympic nursery for Britain. January 19, 1949.
