First A.T.S. Arrive in Normandy - Lance Corporal E. Martin A. Military Policeman talking to Corporal Joyce Collins of Norwich and Lance Corporal Cella Strong of Plumstead. Both these girls will act as M.P.'s in Normandy. The first party of A.T.S., have just arrived in Normandy, they will be attached to 21st., Army Group. Their duties will be to act as clerks in the beachhead. These pictures show the first party of 24 arriving by landing craft at one of the Normandy beaches. October 23, 1944.
