Two of the four monumental granite sculptures in Finnish romantic style, designed in 1904 by architect Gottlieb Eliel Saarinen (1873-1950) and built between 1910-1914, by sculptor Emil Wikstrom (1864-1942). They decorate the southern entrance to the Central Railway Station and hold balloons light up at night that represent the light of the world.
