Ex-Socialist Cabinet Minister Named In Fight Court Case.Ron Barton. Former Socialist Cabinet Minister Emmanuel Shinwell was named today in a London Court as being responsible to having helped to get Ron Barton the British light-heavyweight boxer released from the R.A.F. The allegation was made in the High Court when Barton's manager, Benny Huntman, applied for an injunction restraining Barton, a 21-year-old meat porter, from going over to another manager. Huntman said that when he persuaded Barton to turn professional two years ago, Barton said he had signed up for seven years in the R.A.F. Huntman saw Mr. Shinwell as he was a personal friend of his.
