Dyna Fyr Dyna Fyr is a former beacon and a striking landmark in the Oslofjord. It is about 300 meters south-east of the Bygdøy peninsula opposite the island of Nakkholmen about three kilometers in front of the Oslo city harbor directly on the fairway. In 1873, the port management of the then city Christiania began with the continuous fan of the Oslofjord and thus the access to the port of Oslo. The beacon on Dyna, a tiny Holm, was built in 1874. At first it was equipped with a simple white petroleum fire and a storm bell. In 1928 the fire was electrified and the bell was replaced by a fog horn since 1956 the fire has been automated and there is no lighthouse keeper copyright: xzoonar.com/dagmarxrichhardtx 7204455
