Douglas Webster St. Aubyn Claye, married, of the West Yorks regiment accused at a Newcastle court martial of improperly associating with an ATS private. The ex-At Mrs. Marie Teresa Hanf - now married to an American - told the court yesterday (April 3) that when she told Claye that he was the father of her unborn child he replied "I am the son of an Earl - this will ruin my life." Misconduct took place Hanf declared on only one occasion. The accusation of improperly associating with an ATS private is one of thirteen charges against Lt. Claye. April 15, 1946.
