View through a kind of proscenium with a caryatid in an apse. It has a basement with window grates. The main floor has the shape of an arcade with balconies with screens. Three steps lead into the center to a platform upon which twisted columns, three in a row, support an arch. Shown is 'Ahasverus,' accompanied by soldiers, stretching out his arms towards 'Esther,' kneeling. The mace is in his right hand. Framing line, below, at left.
