Defendants In Japan War Crime Trials -- In the group of 28 Japanese being tried in Tokyo by the International Military tribunal for the far East is Yosuke Matsuoka, (left) who served as Chief Delegate to the league of Nations assembly in 1933 and as a member of the Japanesen Cabinet advisory council in 1940. He was foreign minister under prince Konoye from July, 1940, to July, 1941. At right is Takasumi Oka, who served as section Cheif on the General and Military Affairs Bureau of the Japanese navy from Oct., 1940 to Aug., 1944, and chief of the Chinkai, Korea, naval station from Sept., 1944, to June 1945.
