DAHLGREN, Va. - On Aug. 30, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Technical Director Dale Sisson, Jr., (SES), welcomed Robin Locksley, SES, who serves as the director of the Operational Test and Evaluation Force (OPTEVFOR) for the Department of the Navy, and Capt. Eric Mason, OPTEVFOR Deputy Director, to NSWCDD. As the Navys OPTEVFOR Director, Locksley is the senior leader of the Command and serves in a crucial role in evaluating warfighting capabilities under realistic operating conditions for the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard warfighters, bringing forth system capabilities and limitations, which support military operations and acquisition decisions. The distinguished guests toured several of the warfare centers facilities and test areas and attended multiple technical briefs discussing various weapon systems capabilities and operations status.
